【Properties】This product is a pale - white powder. 

【Pharmacological Action】Pharmacodynamics Tilmicosin is a semi - synthetic macrolide antibiotic. It is mainly active against  Gram - positive bacteria, and also effective against a few Gram - negative bacteria and mycoplasma. Its activity against  Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella spp., and mycoplasma is stronger than that of tylosin. 95% of Pasteurella haemolytica  strains are sensitive to this product. Pharmacokinetics For 10 - week - old Haiyang gray laying hens, when 10mg (calculated by effective component) per 1kg of body  weight is administered by gavage once, the blood drug concentration reaches the peak at 1.2 hours, Cmax  is 0.759 μg/ml, t1/2 is  about 31 hours, and the area under the curve (AUC) is 16.95 μg·h/ml.

【Indications and Uses】It is a macrolide antibiotic. Mainly used for mycoplasma infections and Pasteurella infections in chickens. 

【Dosage and Administration】Calculated based on this product. For drinking water mixing: 0.2g per 1L of water for chickens.  Continuous use for 3 days. 

【Adverse Reactions】The toxic effects of this product on animals are mainly on the cardiovascular system, which can cause  tachycardia and weakened contractility. 

【Precautions】Egg - laying hens are prohibited from using this product during the egg - laying period. 【Withdrawal Period】10 days for chickens.
