【Properties】This product is a pale - yellow or yellow crystalline powder.
【Pharmacological Action】It is a tetracycline antibiotic. Doxycycline can reversibly bind to the receptor on the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interfering with the formation of a ribosome complex between tRNA and mRNA, and inhibiting protein synthesis by preventing the elongation of the peptide chain, thus rapidly inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Doxycycline has an inhibitory effect on both Gram - positive and Gram - negative bacteria. Bacteria have cross - resistance to doxycycline and oxytetracycline. It is rapidly absorbed after oral administration, less affected by food, has high bioavailability, strong tissue penetration, wide distribution, and the effective blood drug concentration is maintained for a long time. 【Indications and Uses】It is a tetracycline antibiotic. Used for the treatment of Escherichia coli, Salmonella infections, Pasteurella disease, and respiratory diseases caused by mycoplasma in pigs and chickens caused by Gram - positive and Gram - negative bacteria.
【Dosage and Administration】Calculated based on this product. For drinking water mixing: 50 - 100mg per 1L of water for pigs; 600mg per 1L of water for chickens. Continuous use for 3 - 5 days.
【Adverse Reactions】Long - term use can cause superinfection and liver damage.
